Our Team.

Our team created a variety of creative deliverables that showcased the energetic, hopeful message that the Watauga Humane Society is dedicated to giving. We supported their efforts to save animals across the high country by creating a brochure, a capital campaign booklet, and a documentary. Our team worked collaboratively throughout the semester and loved working with this organization.

Booklet Design and Production

The team produced a booklet that showcases the heart and hard work behind the Watauga Humane Society. Blending thoughtful writing with clean design, the piece highlights the organization’s mission, daily operations, volunteer impact, and the many services that make successful animal care possible. It serves as both an educational resource and a storytelling tool, giving readers a deeper appreciation for the people, processes, and compassion that sustain the Humane Society’s work.

Documentary Creation

The team created a heartfelt, behind‑the‑scenes documentary that captures the daily rhythm and compassion at Watauga Humane Society. Their process included playing with dogs and cats in their spaces and arriving early to document volunteer‑led morning operations. They conducted interviews with Courtney, the Director of Development and Communications, and Ashlee, the Director of Shelter Operations, whose insights shaped the narrative. The result is a compelling three‑minute documentary designed to inspire donors and volunteers by showing the real people, animals, and dedication that keep the shelter running.

Through thoughtful design, intentional messaging, and authentic on‑site experiences, the team created deliverables that inform, inspire, and strengthen connections with donors, volunteers, and supporters.
