Q: In a world ruled by media, language, and entertainment, what would it look like for Communication Specialists to disappear?
A World Without Communications (COM) engages with the potential problems that would arise as a result of Communication Majors ceasing to exist. This campaign aims at showcasing the wide sweeping range of skills Communication majors learn, grasp, and achieve during their undergraduate years.

THE PROBLEM
How are communications students perceived?
We interviewed students around App State's campus to identify the way Communications is viewed as a major. The results were overwhelmingly negative. Students on campus described their perception that students in the major were dumb, lacking direction and drive.
That stigma has to change for those outside of the major, new to college, and even within the field to see the potential for vast opportunities the Communication field offers.
